Most of my life I felt that way. I felt like I was a prisoner within myself, and in my home, with no control over anything. As I got older I continued to feel confined within myself. I imagine that you too feel that way when you have a broken door, with no little hope for release, and perhaps you too feel like a prisoner.
Installing and repairing garage doors became a metaphor for bringing freedom to not only my world, but for others as well. Garage doors are not just a business for me, but a calling.
As hokey as it may sound, it’s true. Creating physical openings for others feels to me like a feeling of release, a way to bring freedom and joy to the world in my own small way.
I am here to help!
